About the role
The purpose of the Electrician is to provide customers with an exceptional level of service through maintenance and repair of a range diesel powered generators, electrical distribution products and other electrical appliances as required. This must be done in accordance with Kennards Hire values, Standards and procedures, so that equipment availability and reliability is optimised and new customer relationships are developed and existing customer relationships are strengthened.
This role requires you to:

Perform operational electrical equipment repairs

Perform servicing maintenance on the customer site as required, and documentation to render equipment serviceable in accordance with Kennards “Ready for Hire”

Quality Operational Management (QOM) standards

When the role is located in a general hire branch, direct customer contact and customer service will be required
-
Perform branch facilities cleaning and maintenance as required

Perform all reasonable tasks requested by the Branch Manager/Assistant Manager/Duty Manager or Area manager
About you
-
Trade qualified Electrician.

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role or field with a proven track record of strong equipment maintenance and servicing. Generator experience preferred, however not essential.

A proven ability to be adaptable to changing priorities and work conditions including the ability to both work as part of a team and to work autonomously to complete tasks within required timeframes

Time management skills including the ability to plan ahead and reschedule in accordance with changes in priorities
-
Strong communication skills including the ability to follow directions, ask questions to ensure understanding, and proactively provide information to team members
-
A valid Driver's licence
