Evolution Barber Shop is looking for a Senior Barber and a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Barber to join our barbershop in Newstead, Brisbane.
We’re a busy, high-standard shop with a loyal base of local professionals, office workers and returning clients. Our focus is clean work, strong service and a polished client experience, from the consultation to the finish.

Senior Barber:

About You
We’re looking for a Senior Barber with at least 3 years of professional experience.
You should be confident with:
- Fades and tapers
- Beard trims and line-ups
- Classic men’s cuts
- Modern styles
- Client consultation
- Working in a busy shop environment
You should be reliable, well-presented, professional with clients, and able to deliver a high standard of work consistently.
We want someone who understands that barbering is not only about the cut. It is also about the client experience, the details, and building loyal repeat customers.
2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Barber
We are also looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Barber who wants to grow in a busy, professional barbershop.
You’ll learn from experienced barbers, work around real clients, improve your cutting, fading and beard work, and build confidence in client service.
You should be reliable, presentable, willing to learn and serious about building a long-term career in barbering.
Final pay will depend on your skill level, experience, reliability, client retention and overall performance.
