About the Position
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Cleaning Supervisor to join our Facilities Team in Paraburdoo.
This position includes Shire-provided housing and offers an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor looking to take on a rewarding leadership role in a close-knit Pilbara community. The Cleaning Supervisor role offers a mix of administrative duties, cleaning and leadership responsibilities as you coordinate cleaning operations to keep our facilities, housing and public spaces clean, safe and welcoming. You'll manage a small team of Cleaners and play a hands-on role in making sure community spaces are looked after and something everyone can be proud of.
This position is responsible for:
- Leading and supporting a small team of Cleaners across Shire facilities, accommodation and public amenities.
- Coordinating daily work activities, rosters and leave requests to ensure services are delivered efficiently.
- Conducting regular inspections and monitoring cleaning standards across facilities.
- Providing on-the-job coaching, guidance and support to Cleaning Staff.
- Working alongside your team and assisting with cleaning duties as required.
- Coordinating cleaning supplies, equipment and stock requirements.
- Supporting safe work practices and assisting with hazard identification and reporting.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating employees, including rostering and work management.
- Previous experience in commercial, industrial, accommodation or facilities cleaning.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience maintaining records and completing operational administration tasks.
- Computer literacy, including the Microsoft Office suite of products (or similar software).
- Current First Aid Certificate, or willingness to obtain, will be highly regarded.
- A current C Class Driver's Licence (mandatory).
