An opportunity now exists for an experienced legal assistant to support our Financial Sponsors Group (FSG) practice group and a busy team of lawyers on a part-time, permanent basis.
We are looking for someone who is proactive and personable and can demonstrate exceptional communication and organisational skills with an eye for detail and a strong initiative. You will enjoy working as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment, thinking ahead and supporting partners and senior fee earners to proactively deliver an outstanding level of client service.
Key responsibilities
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders
- File management
- Managing calendars
- Billing, time coding and reporting
- Arranging travel (including flights and accommodation)
- Assisting with events and business development activities
Required skills and personal attributes
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
- Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance related software
- Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
