The role and what we are looking for: We're looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our regional Victoria team, delivering civil construction projects across Bendigo, Moama, and Echuca. This is a hands-on site-based role where you'll take real ownership of project outcomes, from planning and execution through to completion, while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and the communities we serve.
You'll be joining a team with over 40 years of expertise in road profiling and civil construction. We're known for tackling demanding projects with precision, delivering to the highest standards, on time and within specification. This is a role for someone who thrives in a regional environment, works well independently, and takes genuine pride in what they build.
What we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Civil Construction, or Construction Management
3 to 5 years of project engineering or project management experience in civil or road construction
Experience working on regional or rural projects — you understand the environment and what it takes to deliver in it
Sound technical knowledge of civil construction processes - earthworks, pavements, drainage, and road construction
Proven ability to manage safety and quality compliance on active construction sites
Strong client and subcontractor relationship management skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to adapt when challenges arise on the ground
Full Australian drivers licence - essential given the multi-site regional nature of the role
