Bridgetown Mitre 10 & Retravision is looking for a motivated, reliable Full-Time Retail Assistant to join our team. If you enjoy helping customers, have a hands-on attitude, and take pride in a job well done, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
As a Full-Time Retail Assistant, you'll be the face of our store — helping customers find what they need, keeping the shop floor looking great, and supporting the day-to-day running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers on the shop floor and at the register
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable advice on hardware, tools, and home improvement products
- Process sales, returns, and exchanges using the POS system
- Receive, price, and stock shelves; maintain a clean and well-organised store
- Assist with loading/unloading stock and customer vehicles as needed
- Respond to customer enquiries in person, by phone, or via email
- Support other team members and management with general store duties
What We're Looking For
- A positive, can-do attitude and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
- Reliable and punctual, with availability for regular weekend work (approx. 2 weekends per month)
- Physically able to lift and move stock
- Forklift ticket highly desirable — or willingness to obtain one
- Prior retail or hardware experience is a plus, but not essential — full training provided
- A genuine interest in hardware, DIY, or trade products is highly regarded

Pay: $27.81 – $41.72 per hour
Expected hours: 38.0 per week
