Cook – Full-Time Position
The Ritual Espresso – Colebee, NSW
The Ritual Espresso is seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our growing team at our Colebee location.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with company recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared and presented to a high standard. Adjusting recipes to meet special dietary requirements. Maintain food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management. Monitor food quality and kitchen cleanliness. Work efficiently during busy service periods. Assist with menu development and seasonal offerings where required. Support the kitchen team in daily operations. Liaising with wait staff and management.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as a Cook in a professional kitchen. Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or an equivalent qualification with at least 2 years of on-the-job training, or Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery. Strong understanding of food safety standards, kitchen operations, and industry best practices. Demonstrated ability to prepare and cook a variety of café and restaurant-style dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards. Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment and maintain consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, time management, organisational, and teamwork skills. Ability to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible shifts as required.
