The role
The Training Coordinator for Recoveries & Settlements supports the delivery and coordination of learning activities embedded within the Technical Capability Team. This role bridges the operational needs of the Recoveries and Settlements department with the team's technical coaches and technical trainers, ensuring training is well-organised, consistently delivered, and aligned to business performance goals.
The Training Coordinator plays a critical part in enabling the Technical Capability Team to operate effectively by managing the end-to-end coordination of training schedules, enrolments, logistics, reporting and communications. They provide administrative and operational support across onboarding programs, ongoing training activities and training material management, to allow technical trainers and coaches to focus on developing the capability of Recoveries & Settlements:
What you’ll be doing

Maintain accurate training records, attendance, completion data and reporting to support performance tracking and compliance requirements

Build and maintain training schedules, enrolments and session logistics for Recoveries and Settlements training activities

Coordinate training requests, learner communications, notifications and consultant support across the department

Assist in identifying technical training requirements based on operational needs and escalate observations to the Technical Capability Team and Team Leader

Assist in the continuous improvement and maintenance of learning materials to support the onboarding of new consultants and their transition into role

Liaise with technical trainers, technical coaches, team leaders and stakeholders to ensure training delivery is well-prepared and ready to execute

Maintain training documentation in line with governance, compliance and audit requirements, escalating any gaps or risks to the Team Leader

Contribute to process improvement initiatives as directed, and actively pursue personal development opportunities to grow capability within the role.
What experience you’ll bring

Previous experience in a data entry, administrative, coordination or support role

Experience managing schedules, records and communications in a fast-paced environment
-
Experience working within a learning and development, training or capability function (desirable)

Exposure to onboarding programs, training coordination or workforce capability initiatives (desirable)

Experience in or exposure to motor claim or general insurance, with an understanding of associated compliance and legislative obligations (desirable)
