The Program Office is a key function within the Statewide Enablement team and is responsible for managing and delivering a diverse portfolio of strategic projects that support statewide pathology, scientific and coronial services. Working closely with senior leaders and stakeholders across Pathology Queensland, the Program Office delivers business transformation initiatives, drives benefits realisation and strengthens organisational capability in project delivery and change management.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
Significant number of years of pathology experience as a medical laboratory scientist.
Understanding of the technical, scientific, instrumental and clinical aspects of pathology laboratory operations and the provision of state-wide pathology services.
Significant experience with Laboratory Information Systems and other essential laboratory and clinical ICT systems.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ICT enabled scientific equipment in a healthcare setting.
Experience and understanding of ICT architecture, cyber security and network connectivity processes.
High level analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and implement solutions to complex issues.
Ability to work in a team environment and develop effective working relationships with stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in developing and writing operating procedures.
Willingness to participate in some travel to other Pathology Queensland laboratories to assist with training and implementation.
This is a temporary full-time opportunity for 12 months, offering the chance to make a significant contribution to the future of digital pathology services across Queensland while working with a collaborative and forward-thinking statewide team.
