Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a full-time or part-time opportunity where you can do meaningful clinical work, maintain a sustainable workload and make a genuine difference in the lives of children and families?

Our Children’s Therapy and Family Supports Program provides therapeutic intervention and capacity building supports to children aged 0-10 years and their families. We service families through the NDIS, Department of Education’s Continuity of Support program and also provide capacity building supports to educators through the School Readiness Funding (SRF) program. Committed to best practice within the early childhood intervention space, our services are delivered based on the Key Worker model by using Transdisciplinary Practice (TDP) and Team Around the Child (TAC) approaches. We are passionate about providing a welcoming and safe environment for our children and families to thrive and learn, and have adopted family-centered and strengths-based practices.

About the Role
Join a collaborative allied health team delivering evidence-based therapy and early intervention supports to children aged 0–10 years and their families.
You will work with children and families using a family-centred, key worker approach, delivering therapy and early intervention supports across:

Clinic sessions
-
Home visits
-
Kindergartens and schools
-
Community settings
-
School Readiness Funding programs
This role is ideal for Occupational Therapists who enjoy working in natural environments, coaching families and educators, and supporting children to achieve meaningful goals in everyday life.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering occupational therapy assessments and intervention
-
Supporting children with self-care, emotional regulation, play, motor and participation goals
-
Coaching parents, carers and educators to build confidence and capability
-
Collaborating with Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Specialist Teachers
-
Delivering services across clinic, home, educational and community settings
-
Contributing to School Readiness Funding programs and group-based supports
What We’re Looking For
-
Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification and current AHPRA registration
-
Experience delivering occupational therapy services to children and families across a range of settings is highly regarded
-
Experience working with children and families, or a strong interest in paediatric practice
-
Experience within the NDIS or early childhood intervention sector is highly regarded but not essential
-
Current Working with children check
-
NDIS workers screening check (or willing to obtain)

Unrestricted Australian working rights
-
Passionate about early intervention and family-centred practice
-
A strong communicator who enjoys working with families and educators
-
Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative multidisciplinary teamMinimum 3 days of commitment required.

You must hold a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
