About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist to join us in this exciting role working within the MLHD Musculoskeletal Services, the physiotherapist will make a significant contribution to the Osteoarthritis Chronic Care Program (OACCP) and the Osteoporosis Refracture Prevention Program (ORPP), which provide better valued health care to the people living with chronic health conditions.
As the Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for:
Provision of a comprehensive assessment and care coordination for both of the Musculoskeletal programs (ORPP and OACCP) to the clients and their carers. This may include outreach and the use of telehealth as a mode of clinical services delivery.
Develop and evaluate, interventions according to patient/client goal and needs, in collaboration with senior clinicians as appropriate.
Communicate appropriately and effectively with clients/patients/family’s/ visitors/other health care workers at all times with awareness, respect and support for cultural diversity in view of assisting them in the adoption of healthy behaviour

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with AHPRA
Knowledge, skills, clinical experience and ability in physiotherapy practice to provide patient-centred, evidence-based physiotherapy services across a range of clinical areas.
Ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team
