The Pricing Manager supports APAC deal governance by evaluating non-standard pricing requests, advising on deal structure, protecting margin, and enabling compliant decisions across Sales, Finance, Legal, and Business Desk stakeholders.
This individual contributor role is part of the APAC Business Desk and focuses on pricing exceptions, deal approvals, margin recovery, and alignment with company policy and business objectives.
The role requires effective cross-functional engagement across APAC countries, cultures, and time zones.

Manage pricing escalations and review deals that deviate from standard pricing, approval, or commercial guidelines.

Facilitate Business Desk reviews by preparing deal summaries, highlighting risks, and driving timely decisions.

Recommend pricing and deal structures that support margin protection, compliance, and sound business decisions.

Monitor strategic opportunities, including Enterprise Agreements, and coordinate early stakeholder engagement.

Ensure adherence to business processes, approval rules, and pricing policies.

Drive effective use of pricing, approval, and reporting tools, and recommend process improvements.

Track selected performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Provide competitive pricing intelligence and field insights to inform deal strategy and pricing guidance.

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with APAC cultural awareness.

Ability to collaborate across Sales, Finance, Legal, Business Desk, and regional teams.

Strong understanding of the sales and buying cycle, deal context, and sales effectiveness.

Ability to analyze deal information, synthesize insights, and communicate recommendations clearly.

Good understanding of how technology products and solutions solve customer business problems.

Strong ethical awareness and integrity, with the ability to make unbiased, objective decisions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with pricing, quoting, CRM, reporting, or workflow tools preferred.
Education:

Bachelor’s degree required

8-10 years of related experience preferred, ideally in pricing, deal desk, business desk, commercial operations, sales operations, finance, or enterprise technology.
