Glocally Services is currently seeking experienced Excavator Operators for civil construction projects across Sydney and Western Sydney.
This role is ideal for reliable operators who have strong civil site experience and can operate safely around workers, services, and other machinery.
About the Role
You will be operating excavators on civil construction projects including earthworks, trenching, drainage, roadworks, site preparation, detailed excavation, and general civil works.
You must be confident working on active construction sites and following instructions from site supervisors.
Duties May Include
- Operating excavators safely and efficiently
- Trenching, bulk earthworks, and detailed excavation
- Working around live services and other machinery
- Assisting with drainage, pipework, and civil infrastructure works
- Conducting pre-start checks on machinery
- Following site safety procedures and SWMS
- Working closely with supervisors, spotters, labourers, and other operators
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
Requirements
- Previous experience operating excavators on civil projects
- Valid White Card
- Excavator ticket / VOC highly regarded
- Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Ability to follow site plans and instructions
- Strong safety awareness
- Reliable, punctual, and hard-working attitude
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Highly Regarded
- Final trim experience
- GPS experience: Trimble, Topcon, or similar
- Experience around live services
- Drainage and pipework experience
- HR licence or additional plant tickets
- Civil labouring experience when required
