Male Support Worker, Part-Time
Location: Narre Warren South
Schedule:
- Mondays and Fridays, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- Saturday, 2-hour shift
Harmony House is looking for a reliable, caring, and motivated Male Support Worker to join our team and provide quality support to a participant in the community.
About the Role
Mondays and Fridays (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
- Pick up the participant from school
- Support and accompany them to the gym
- Assist with the journey home
- Encourage independence, confidence, and community participation
Saturday (2-hour shift)
- Community access support
- Assist with social and recreational activities
- Promote engagement, wellbeing, and independence
Essential Requirements
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid Working with Children Check (if applicable)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence
- Reliable, insured vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and compassionate approach to support
Desirable
- Previous experience supporting participants with disability
- Experience with community access and active supports
- Passion for empowering people to achieve their goals
