Allegiance Heart & Home Care is seeking a reliable and experienced support worker to provide weekly domestic assistance to an older client living in Prospect.
This is a regular ongoing shift every Friday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am. The successful applicant must be dependable, respectful and committed to providing high-quality, person-centred support in the client’s home.
- General household cleaning
- Vacuuming and mopping
- Cleaning bathrooms and kitchen areas
- Dusting and tidying
- Laundry and changing bed linen
- Washing dishes
- Removing household rubbish
- Identifying and reporting safety concerns
- Completing accurate progress notes after each shift
- Following the client’s care plan and Allegiance Heart & Home Care policies
- Experience providing domestic assistance in aged care, disability support or community care
- Current National Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Valid Australian working rights
- Reliable transport
- Ability to use a mobile phone and complete digital progress notes
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Availability every Friday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability or a related field
- Experience working with older people
- Greek-language skills
- Availability for additional shifts in the future
