Due to the continuing growth of SafeGauge, we are requiring another team member for our production facility based in Beresfield.

About the role:
Order Fulfilment & Shipping
- Process and fulfil orders using the fulfilment spreadsheet, ensuring it’s consistently updated
- Prepare and pack goods for dispatch, including generating commercial invoices for international shipments
- Arrange Country of Origin Certificates and Free Trade Agreements
- Book and arrange shipments including exports
- Transfer finished goods to appropriate locations for dispatch
Production Support/Technician
- Prepare kits and materials for assembly in the kit fulfilment area. Notify the Quality and Production Engineer when kits are ready for inspection
- Assemble products and components using hand tools or machinery as needed
- Assist with manufacturing of main product lines when required
- Perform calibration, basic diagnostics, and error reporting of faulty components
Cover Warehouse/ Goods In when required
- Receive and check incoming goods against purchase orders
- Notify the Quality and Production Engineer upon delivery for inspection clearance
- Accurately locate and store stock items after clearance
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular rotating cycle counts
- Ensure all stock is clearly labelled and appropriately stored
- Pick and process all stock requests via Confluence
Workplace Maintenance & Compliance
- Clean and maintain work areas and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures, equity policies, and company guidelines
- Demonstrate professionalism and uphold the values outlined in SafeGauge’s Code of Conduct
About you:
- Must have worked in a production facility previously or similar, however full on the job training will be provided
- Technically minded, not an engineer
- Experience with shipping including exports
- Effective communication skills
- Must be computer literate
- Must have dexterity as manufacture involves small parts
- Able to work in a small team environment and share workloads as flexibility is a must, change is a guarantee, and growth is continuous
