The Role
We’re looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our Padstow facility, with a focus on bonded freight operations. Whether you’ve got experience in a bonded or customs-controlled environment, or you’re looking to build a career in freight and logistics — we want to hear from you. What matters most is attitude, reliability, and a genuine drive to do good work.
What You’ll Do
General warehouse tasks including:
· Loading and unloading of transport vehicles
· Palletising freight
· Wrapping completed pallets
· Daily housekeeping
· Complete weekly/daily operational checklists
Bonded freight requirements:
· Training in 77G and Biosecurity bonded freight
· Deconsolidation of import aircraft units
· Matching and outturning import freight to manifests provided
· Assist Biosecurity Officers during freight inspections
· Weekly bond checks
· Ensure accurate reporting on import manifests and warehouse releases
· Reporting any visible damage to freight
· Monitor bond emails for client specific requests
· Utilisation of CargoWise for bonded freight adjustments and paperwork
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or a bonded freight environment — or a strong desire to learn and build a career in the industry
- A reliable, punctual person who takes pride in doing things properly
- Strong attention to detail and workplace safety — particularly important in a compliance-driven environment
- Good communication and the ability to work well in a team and independently
- Ability to consistently meet rostered shifts and work schedules
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Forklift licence is preferred but not required
