About the Role
Elevated Estate Service is looking for an experienced Climber / Certified Arborist to join our crew. You'll be doing hands-on removals, trimming, and pruning work across residential and commercial properties everything from routine canopy work to technical, high-risk removals near homes, power lines, and structures. This is a job for someone who already knows their way around a harness and a chainsaw and takes pride in doing clean, safe work.
What You'll Be Doing
- Climbing and performing removals, trimming, and pruning using proper rigging and rope techniques
- Assessing tree health, structural risk, and the safest approach for each job before starting work
- Working closely with ground crew to coordinate safe rigging, drops, and debris handling
- Operating chainsaws and climbing equipment to industry safety standards
- Communicating clearly with crew leads and, where needed, directly with clients on-site
- Keeping equipment maintained and reporting any gear issues before they become a problem
- Following all safety protocols this is non-negotiable, every job, every time
What We're Looking For
- Certified Arborist (ISA certification or equivalent) required
- Proven climbing experience this is an experienced-only role, not an entry-level or training position
- Strong knowledge of rigging, rope systems, and safe removal techniques around structures and power lines
- Comfortable making judgment calls on tree risk and removal strategy
- Physically fit and confident working at height in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license (chainsaw certification and other tickets a plus)
- Reliable, safety-first attitude someone we can trust on technical jobs without needing to double-check every call
