Our premium bathhouse experience features hot, warm and cold pools, saunas, a steam room and a beautifully designed space that promotes rebalance, stillness and renewal. The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, safety-conscious, and reliable individual to join our team in a multi-skilled role. This position combines lifeguarding, customer service, and cleaning/maintenance duties to ensure our bathhouse operates safely and seamlessly.
You will be the reassuring presence supervising our pools and thermal areas, the warm and professional face greeting guests at reception, and a key team member maintaining our premium cleanliness standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lifeguarding & Safety
· Maintain vigilant, active supervision of pools and wet areas.
· Enforce safety policies and facility guidelines respectfully and consistently.
· Respond confidently to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR where required.
· Monitor guest wellbeing in hot and cold environments to ensure safe usage.
Reception & Guest Services
· Welcome guests and provide an exceptional first impression.
· Process bookings, memberships, and retail transactions via POS systems.
· Answer phone and email inquiries professionally and efficiently.
· Assist guests with information about services, facilities, and wellness offerings.
Cleaning & Maintenance
· Perform regular cleaning of change rooms, bathrooms, showers, and pool surrounds.
· Maintain presentation standards across all guest and staff areas.
· Support water testing procedures and assist with chemical handling (where trained).
· Identify and report hazards or maintenance issues promptly.
Facility Operations
· Assist with opening and closing procedures.
· Support stock replenishment
· Contribute to a calm, safe, and welcoming atmosphere at all times.
What You Need (about you)
· Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate (Desirable but not essential)
· Current Senior First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 or equivalent) (Essential)
· Current Police Check (or willing to attain)
· Legally able to work in Australia
· 18+ years old
· Strong swimming ability and physical fitness.
· A calm, professional manner suited to a wellness environment.
· Works well in a team, but also takes personal responsibility
· Great customer service and communication skills
What You Need (Desirable)
· Previous experience in an aquatic, leisure, or wellness environment (ideally but not essential)
· Experience in reception, hospitality, or customer service roles.
· Familiarity with POS systems and booking platforms.
· Knowledge of pool water testing and chemical handling.
