Better Support Solutions is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Employment Partner to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong relationships with businesses and creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability.
About the Role
As an Employment Partner, you will be responsible for developing relationships with local employers, identifying suitable employment opportunities and connecting businesses with NDIS participants who are looking to enter or re-enter the workforce.
You will play an important role in creating inclusive employment opportunities and helping participants achieve their employment goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local employers and businesses
- Source suitable employment opportunities for NDIS participants
- Coordinate introductions between participants and potential employers
- Maintain regular communication with employers and participants
- Developing strong rapport to understand your participants' needs, interests, skills and experience
- Assisting with participants’ resumes, job applications and interview preparation
- Creating job plans with our participants to support clear pathways into sustainable employment
- Increasing our participants' employability through training and other support services
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident and professional when communicating with employers and businesses
- Comfortable with networking, cold calling and business development
- Able to identify opportunities and think creatively about employer partnerships
- Experienced in employment services, recruitment, business development, disability services or a related field
- Qualification in Employment Services is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of the NDIS and disability employment sector is highly desirable

Pay: $35.00 – $42.00 per hour
