Join the Elegant Collections team as a Part-Time Retail Sales Assistant at our Dandenong Showroom! We specialise in luxury furniture and home decor, directly importing high-end sofas, dining/bedroom furniture, and home decor items. We're looking for driven and sales-focused individuals to represent our brand.
While sales experience is an advantage, we're open to teaching the right attitude and aptitude. If you have a keen memory for details and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we'd love to hear from you!
Do you come with the following?
- Proven retail experience within a bulky goods retail environment and are able to lift
- Have a "can-do" attitude
- Can show us that you are driven to succeed, competitive, ambitious, and self-motivated, whilst able to successfully work as part of a team
- Are a great communicator, a good listener, and a persuasive sale closer
- Have a genuine interest in people and can engage with them to build repeat business
- Can work on weekends and enjoy time off during the week.
- Are immaculately presented
- Ability to start immediately
- Minimum 2 year experience in the Retail, Customer Service or Sales sector
You will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Maximising sales opportunities whilst always providing an excellent standard of customer service.
- Providing exceptional product knowledge and offering solutions (training provided).
- Engaging quickly and delivering efficient customer care to ensure speedy responses to customer needs and wants.
- Following up on customer inquiries, solving problems, and maintaining strong customer relationships providing great aftercare service.
- Maintaining showroom appearance
- Handing out / fulfilling customers’ orders
- Opening and closing the store
- Adhoc work as requested by management
Job Types: Part-time, Subcontract
Pay: $21.00 – $27.00 per hour
