About the Role
You will be an experienced, skilled and knowledgeable clinician, with a good understanding of the NDIS system. You will have a minimum of 5 years post qualification clinical experience within mental health, in either Social Work, Occupational Therapy, RPN or Psychology.

Work within the Strengths Model of Recovery orientated practice. Actively uphold a culture of hope by using optimistic language, supporting people and celebrating consumers’ recovery efforts.

Undertake the assessment, provision of treatment and delivery of targeted interventions to consumers with complex mental health related needs and their family/carers
- Build and maintain effective partnerships between the mental health teams, including the SVMH NDIS Lead, and the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA), Local Area Coordinators (LAC’s) and NDIS funded service providers.
Classifications for this position will range from:

OT/SW Grade 4 HR9 - HR12 or HR25 - HR28 ($107,260 - $122,548 per annum pro rata)

Psychologist Grade 3 PL1 – PL4 ($108,279 - $123,905 per annum pro rata)

RPN Grade 4 NP75 - NP77 ($121,274 - $130,603 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
- A minimum of 5 years post qualification clinical experience within Mental Health in either SW, OT, Psychology and RPN.

Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (all disciplines except Social Work).

Experience in working within or closely with the NDIS sector.

Ability to develop care plans that are creative and flexible, place the consumer at the centre of their care, and which draw in services from across a range of sectors

Demonstrated ability to working collaboratively with clients and carers to promote self-determination and enable progress towards reaching personal goals

A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check, or willing to obtain

About Complex Care
The SVMH Complex Care Program provides a specialist service for consumers experiencing high levels of complexity, by developing integrated and recovery focused complex care packages in collaboration with the consumer, treating team, services and carers. In conjunction with severe mental illness, these complexities can include recurring homelessness, co-existing substance use issues, cognitive difficulties, challenging or antisocial behaviour or patterns of offending behaviours and associated interaction with the criminal justice system, comorbidities, and high users of services.
