The Role
We are seeking an experienced HashiCorp Vault Product Owner to join a high-performing cybersecurity and platform engineering team.
This is a strategic and hands-on role focused on defining, governing, and driving the enterprise adoption of HashiCorp Vault as a core security capability across cloud, infrastructure, application, and network environments. You will play a key role in shaping the long-term vision, operating model, and roadmap for Vault while ensuring the platform delivers measurable security, compliance, and operational benefits across the organisation.
The ideal candidate will bring strong HashiCorp Vault expertise, product ownership experience, and a proven track record of delivering enterprise security capabilities while engaging with senior stakeholders, technology teams, and strategic vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Own the HashiCorp Vault strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
Drive Vault adoption across cloud, infrastructure, and application platforms.
Prioritise initiatives based on security, risk, and business outcomes.
Act as the Vault subject matter expert and capability owner.
Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and platform optimisation.
Define KPIs, adoption metrics, and platform success measures.
Collaborate with stakeholders across cybersecurity, cloud, and engineering teams.
What You'll Need
Strong enterprise HashiCorp Vault experience.
Experience as a Product Owner, Service Owner, or Technical Product Manager.
Strong understanding of security, secrets management, and governance.
Experience defining product roadmaps and operating models.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to balance business, security, and technical priorities.
Desirable Skills
AWS, Azure, or GCP experience.
DevOps and Platform Engineering exposure.
Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native platform knowledge.
CI/CD experience (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
Knowledge of compliance, cybersecurity, and data protection frameworks.
Relevant cloud, security, Agile, or ITIL certifications.
