Graduate Accountant – Vietnamese Speaking

We are a professional Chartered Accounting firm providing accounting, taxation, business advisory, and compliance services to a diverse client base. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a motivated Graduate Accountant who is fluent in Vietnamese and English to join our team.
This role is ideal for a recent accounting graduate who is eager to develop their technical skills, work closely with experienced accountants, and build a long-term career in public practice.
Key Responsibilities
As a Graduate Accountant, your duties will include:
- Preparing individual, company, trust, partnership, and sole trader tax returns
- Assisting with financial statements and management reports
- Preparing BAS, IAS, and other ATO compliance documents
- Supporting senior accountants with tax planning and business advisory work
- Communicating with Vietnamese-speaking clients in a professional manner
- Liaising with the ATO and other external parties as required
- Maintaining accurate client records and working papers
- Assisting with bookkeeping, payroll, and cloud accounting tasks
- Learning and applying Australian taxation and accounting standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related field
- Fluency in Vietnamese and English, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of Australian taxation and accounting principles
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or HandiSoft is highly regarded
- A positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $56,000.00 – $66,000.00 per year
