Experienced Cook / Chef – 5 Days | Approx. 35 Hours | Immediate Start
Decisions Cafe in Birtinya is looking for an experienced and reliable Cook/Chef to join our kitchen team.
Pay rate will be based on experience, skills and qualifications.
This is a casual position across 5 days per week, averaging approximately 35 hours per week, including Saturday and Sunday.
You’ll be working as part of an established kitchen team and will report directly to our Head Chef, supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and helping maintain strong standards across service, food quality and organization. You must be confident in a busy kitchen, takes pride in the food you produce, and bring strong initiative and leadership to the team during the Head Chef's absence.
What we’re looking for:
perience as a Cook or Chef
- Experience working in a fast-paced cafe (preferably) or commercial kitchen
- Strong leadership skills and the confidence to take initiative
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- High standards of food quality, presentation and cleanliness
- Reliable, punctual and committed
- Valid working rights in Australia
- Availability to work Saturday and Sunday
