Clinical Lead – Snow Centre for Immune Health
Fractional/Ongoing - 14hours per fortnight

Unit Description:
The Snow Centre for Immune Health has a global mission to improve the lives of people with immune diseases through a new approach to immune health. Co-led by WEHI and the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Centre brings together leading Australian and international researchers with a shared goal of transforming how immune system disorders are assessed and treated.
Our aim is to accelerate discovery of the fundamental features and markers of immune health, enabling earlier identification of disease and more precise, targeted treatment. The Centre has been established in partnership with the Snow Medical Research Foundation.
About the role:
The role of Clinical Lead is a senior leadership position responsible for all Centre clinical research, operations, quality, and staff management. The candidate will lead and oversee the Centre’s clinical research program, ensuring aligned, high-quality, and compliant research delivery across the Hospital. Responsibilities include managing the clinical research team, coordinating patient recruitment and data integration, and reporting clinical performance and outcomes to the Director. The Clinical Lead will be supported by a Research Nurse Manager, a Clinical Program Coordinator, and a Community Engagement Coordinator.

About You:
- Appropriate tertiary medical qualification from either an Australian Medical School or recognised overseas training and medical registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Specialist qualifications (FRACP/FRCPA)
- A PhD and track record of independent clinical and translational research (desirable).
- Experience in clinical leadership or managing multidisciplinary teams (desirable).
- Strong understanding of translational research and clinical informatics (desirable).
