About the Role
Working within our beautiful specialty crystal store, you'll become part of a passionate team dedicated to creating a welcoming and inspiring shopping experience.
Every day is different as you assist customers, share your product knowledge, create visually stunning displays and help customers find meaningful pieces from our extensive collection of crystals, fossils, minerals, gemstones and jewellery.
For the Assistant Manager position, you'll also play a key role in supporting daily store operations, mentoring the team and helping drive sales performance.
We're Looking For People Who Have
- Previous retail or customer service experience (specialty retail experience highly regarded)
- A genuine interest a mineralogist, Crystallographer, Gemologist or Lapidary
- A genuine interest in crystals, fossils, minerals, gemstones and their unique qualities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A professional, confident and well-presented manner
- A positive attitude with a willingness to continually learn
- Strong initiative and the ability to work independently
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays
Assistant Manager Applicants Should Also Demonstrate
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience within retail
- The ability to motivate, coach and support a team
- Confidence in managing daily store operations
- Strong merchandising and stock management skills
- A commitment to achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer experiences
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and personalised shopping experiences
- Share your knowledge and enthusiasm for crystals, minerals, fossils and gemstones
- Process sales accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain beautiful visual merchandising and store presentation
- Replenish stock and assist with inventory management
- Build genuine relationships with customers
- Contribute to a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture
