Sonnel Hospitality is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for The Peakhurst. This role will see you working closely with the Head Chef, front-of-house management, and wider venue teams to deliver exceptional food experiences, while contributing to the continued growth and success of the business.
The Peakhurst is a local premium bar and bistro located in the heart of Peakhurst, offering delicious meals, ice-cold drinks, live sport, and versatile function spaces for every occasion. Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen management
Strong leadership and communication skills
A passion for creating exceptional dishes and running efficient services
Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and consistency
Leadership qualities, with the ability to train and motivate a team
A composed personality that works easily with others
Good knowledge of cost control, stock management, and food safety standards
Attention to detail and creativity in menu planning & dish creation
Someone who loves food and hospitality

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Ability to motivate and support a kitchen brigade
Excellent organisational and communication skills
