Content Migration Specialist (3-Month Contract)

Are you highly detail-oriented with experience managing website content and working within CMS platforms? At VetPartners we’re looking for a Content Migration Specialist to support a large-scale website migration project across multiple clinic websites.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring content is accurately migrated, quality checked, and optimised while maintaining a seamless user experience and protecting SEO performance.
About the role
As a Content Migration Specialist, you will support the end-to-end migration of website content from legacy CMS platforms, such as WordPress, into a new CMS environment. Working closely with project stakeholders, you will ensure content is transferred accurately, consistently, and in line with established templates, processes, and quality standards.
This is a 3-month contract position that can be performed fully remotely from anywhere in Australia.
Key responsibilities include:

Migrate website content including pages, blogs, service information, and media assets

Follow established content mapping frameworks and migration templates

Ensure content formatting, links, images, and page structure are accurate and consistent

Conduct quality assurance checks on migrated content

Validate SEO metadata and identify any migration issues or defects

Create, update, and maintain content within the CMS

Upload and optimise images and other media assets

Collaborate with reviewers and project stakeholders to incorporate feedback

Maintain migration trackers and provide progress updates

Escalate risks, issues, and blockers as required

Follow documented processes and standard operating procedures
About you
You are organised, proactive, and thrive in a structured environment where accuracy matters. You enjoy working independently while collaborating effectively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
To be successful, you’ll bring:

2–5 years' experience in digital content, website administration, or content management roles

Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Payload CMS, Drupal, Sitecore, or similar

Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A basic understanding of website structure, formatting, and user experience principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
