The Nursing team sits within Victoria University’s TAFE division and delivers high-quality, industry-relevant training across the nursing and health sector.

About the Role:
As a Nursing Teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your nursing experience with the next generation of students. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop, deliver, and continuously improve high-quality, industry-relevant learning resources aligned with current nursing standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for training and assessing students studying in the Diploma of Nursing, supporting the development of their practical and theoretical skills, and maintaining accurate and compliant student records. Position Key Duties :
- Facilitate learning and establish educational and assessment strategies to suit a range of student, client needs and industry contexts
- To work in and with current and prospective industry partners and enterprises
- Ensure quality compliance of the requirements of ASQA, VRQA, HESG service agreements within your delivery and assessment
- Establish and maintain a positive learning environment and undertake assessment of student performance in accordance with the requirements of the relevant curriculum
- Research, develop and customise learning materials suitable for a range of teaching and learning settings and diverse students and industry clients
Position Details:
Salary: VT3-VT5 $93,058 per annum – $117-998 per annum

About You:
- An approved degree, diploma or certificate or other tertiary qualification/s relevant to the programs to be taught. (Note that an equivalent AQF level qualification is required to the level that is being taught).
- A Training and Assessment qualification: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122); or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) with Address Adult Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills (TAELLN411 or TAELLN401); and Design and Develop Assessment Tools (TAEASS502, TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B).
- Current Registration as an RN with AHPRA.
- Be passionate about sharing your knowledge and industry experience with the next generation of Enrolled Nurses (EN).
- Demonstrate a willingness to continually learn and develop as a TAFE Teacher, maintaining current industry knowledge and teaching practice.
- Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain one
