About the Role:
As the Strategic IT Business Partner, you'll act as the trusted advisor between Salvos Stores and Information Technology, ensuring technology investments align with business priorities and organisational strategy.
You'll develop technology roadmaps, shape investment decisions, guide technology-enabled change and work closely with business leaders, architects, project teams and technology specialists to deliver meaningful outcomes. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll combine strategic thinking with practical delivery to ensure technology creates measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand business priorities and translate them into clear technology strategies and roadmaps

Shape and prioritise technology initiatives, balancing business value, risk, cost and delivery capacity

Partner with architects, business analysts and delivery teams to design scalable and sustainable solutions

Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve reporting, data quality and business insights

Support strong governance, risk management, privacy, cyber security and compliance across technology initiatives
About You:

Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business, Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)

Experience working in complex, multi-stakeholder environments; experience in retail, NFP or logistics will be highly regarded

Demonstrated experience partnering with Retail and eCommerce environments, with a strong understanding of omnichannel operations, POS platforms, supply chain integration, and digital customer experiences

Proven success leading large-scale technology-enabled change and project delivery

Experience contributing to technology investment planning, budgeting and financial forecasting
