We are seeking a motivated ICT Business Analyst to join our team and help drive business improvements through technology, process optimization, and stakeholder collaboration– DDT Holdings Pty Ltd. The entity is an active fast-growing international commodity trader mainly focusing on Indian Subcontinents and South East Asia.
About the role:
This role is an exciting opportunity for one dynamic accountant who will be working on a full-time basis at our Ultimo office. You will get to join our qualified, well-experienced, and culture diversified team. This is a versatile role that requires regular communication with all the internal departments, higher management, stakeholders, and valuable clients.
Reporting to the ICT Business Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
· Review existing processes, workflows, and IT systems to identify issues and suggest better ways of working.
· Conducting cost-benefit analysis by preparing freight rate charts of all shipping companies.
· Understand client needs and turn business requirements into system specifications.
· Conduct data analysis and prepare reports and dashboards.
· Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and issue resolution.
· Facilitate communication between business users and technical teams.
· Assist with Agile project activities and project documentation.
Education Requirements for the role.
The role requires a relevant qualification in Information Technology, Business Analysis, Computer Science or related field.
Skills and Experience requirement for the role.
The skills and experience that are most needed for this role include:
· Minimum one year’s relevant experience.
· Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
· Problem-solving skills and the ability to demonstrate initiative.
· Excellent attention in detail.
· Well organized and structured in carrying out the duties.
· High level of interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred Skills
· Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
· Knowledge about terms and requirement of the shipping industry
· Knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms.
· Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard development.
Remuneration:
Gross Salary $75,000 - $85,000 per annum plus Superannuation (Negotiable based on experience).
Working Hours:
· Full time 38 hours per week.
· Depending upon the work requirement, candidates may need to work on some weekends as well to meet the working days of an international client including Indian sub-continent.
