Diverse Asset Maintenance Services is a locally owned and growing business delivering high-quality commercial cleaning services across the Mackay region.
Due to expansion, we are seeking a hands-on Commercial Cleaning Supervisor who takes pride in delivering exceptional standards and can lead teams to consistently meet very high client expectations.
About the Role
This is a leadership role focused on quality, accountability, and operational control.
You will work from schedules prepared by our Cleaning Manager, allowing you to focus on supervising teams, maintaining high standards, and ensuring all sites are delivered to a consistently exceptional level.
A key part of this role is ensuring all team members correctly log in and out of each client site every shift, maintaining strong accountability and accurate timekeeping.
You will also attend our depot during the day as required to collect supplies and, through communicating with your Cleaning Manager, ensure your teams are fully prepared.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and support cleaning teams
· Ensure all work is completed to exceptionally high standards
· Conduct detailed site inspections and quality checks
· Ensure all staff correctly log in and out at each client site
· Maintain accurate oversight of timekeeping and attendance
· Provide regular reporting to the Cleaning Manager
· Collect and manage cleaning supplies from the depot
· Proactively identify and resolve issues before they reach the client
· Ensure WHS compliance across all sites
· Escalate any issues or risks promptly to management
About You
· Experience in commercial cleaning (supervisory experience preferred)
· Strong focus on quality, presentation, and attention to detail
· High standards and pride in your work
· Strong leadership and organisational skills
· Reliable, proactive, and hands-on
· Good communication and reporting skills
· Current Driver’s Licence (essential)
· Construction Industry White Card (essential)
· Able to work either night &/or day shifts and attend depot during the day as required
· Strong character and ability to manage and lead a diverse team with varying skill and motivation levels
