Rider Academy is your pathway to becoming a Postie, with full training, ongoing support, and a structured plan to achieve your full motorcycle licence — all while working in a meaningful role that makes a difference.
Your New Role – Postie with a Purpose
Your primary base will be Preston, with the flexibility to work across nearby sites as needed. You’ll complete your training and day-to-day duties here while working towards your motorcycle licence. Once you’ve gained your P’s, we’ll continue to support your development and explore future opportunities that align with your goals.
As a Postie, you’ll be delivering on our electric delivery vehicles or motorcycles as the friendly face of our trusted service. At the heart of your community, you'll connect Australians every day and make a real impact — all while developing your skills and shaping your future.

You’ll Be:

Starting early in the morning, sorting mail and small parcels with your teammates!
-
Performing daily safety checks on your vehicle.

Delivering mail and parcels on your bike/vehicle, rain or shine, to homes and businesses.

Flexible to work across multiple sites as needed.

Learning, growing, and making your mark with ongoing mentoring and leadership development!
What You’ll Need:

You must already hold a full car driving license
-
A passion for learning and a strong sense of commitment.

Willing to complete licensing with our support. Must be able to pass the Pre-Learner Course for geared motorcycles.

Physical fitness to lift upto 16kg regularly and meet our safe working vehicle load limit of weighing under 100kgs fully clothed (including helmet)

Commitment to working Monday to Friday commencing 6am, with flexibility on finishing times is required.

Successful candidates will be required to attend a mandatory three-day, in-person induction and training session in Sunshine West.
How We’ll Deliver for You:

Pay rate for this role is $32.34ph for the first 3 months, then $36.99ph once fully trained plus 12% superannuation.
