About your role
As Revenue Manager, you'll lead the Revenue and Private Practice teams, providing specialist advice and strategic leadership to optimise revenue, strengthen financial processes and support sustainable health service outcomes.
In this role you will:
Provide expert revenue advice to senior management and finance leaders.
Identify and optimise revenue generation and recovery opportunities.
Oversee accounts receivable, patient trust and monthly revenue functions.
Monitor financial and activity KPIs and drive improved performance.
Lead billing, invoicing, reconciliation and debt recovery processes.
Provide specialist advice on Medicare, health funds and private practice.
Identify process improvements and lead change management initiatives.
Build strong partnerships across clinical, operational and executive teams.
Contribute to financial statements, assurance testing and compliance.
Drive revenue sustainability through innovative business solutions.
About you
You're a finance professional with strong experience in revenue management and a passion for improving financial outcomes in healthcare.
You'll bring:
Strong understanding of healthcare revenue and funding arrangements.
Experience managing revenue functions within the public health sector.
Proven leadership experience across teams and complex operations.
Strong knowledge of Medicare, health funds and revenue legislation.
Highly developed analytical and financial management capabilities.
Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements.
Strong stakeholder management across clinical and corporate teams.
A strategic approach to revenue optimisation and sustainability.
