Salary:
Salary will be in line with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2010, with above award rates for the right candidate.
Salary ranges from $79,500pa for new graduates to $108,000pa for experienced therapists, which can be negotiated for the right candidate, with Superannuation 11% additional.
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full time Physiotherapist to support our busy clinics located in Camperdown and Terang. If you're looking for part-time or casual hours, contact our Team to see if this may be an option. Join our small team who have a great relationship within the community. Your role will be predominantly based in Aged Care facilities servicing residents and completing Functional Assessments and associated documentation. In addition to this will be some coverage of Private outpatients in our clinic as well as inpatient coverage to the Terang & Mortlake Health Service.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Manage a varied caseload of musculoskeletal and sports patients
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, and improve their wellbeing
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Follow treatment protocols from surgeons
- Aged Care programs
· About you:
A naturally empathetic individual, you will be able to balance between patient care and business needs.
In order to succeed in this role, you must possess the following:
· valid drivers licence and ability to occasionally travel between clinics, Aged care facilities or home visits when required
· Valid rights to work in Australia. Qualified Physiotherapists on limited Registration requiring supervision are welcome to apply.
· Experience with treatment of general musculoskeletal and sport clients
· Minimum of 2 years' physiotherapy (preferred)
· AHPRA registration and indemnity insurance (required)
· a passion and desire to work in a private practice setting
· Able to work dependently as well as in a team
· Able to develop good professional relations with referring doctors and other allied health professionals.
