Join our team as a Picking Trailer Tractor Driver
Flegler Group is looking for a reliable and experienced Picking Trailer Tractor Driver to join our team at our Tully Gorge Road farm. This role is suited to someone who is confident operating tractors and working closely with picking crews in the paddock. Work is hands-on and full-time, with immediate start available.
We are looking for a keen, enthusiastic and reliable person to fulfil a Picking Trailer Tractor Driver role. Reporting to the relevant supervisor, you will assist daily paddock operations by operating tractors and trailers, supporting picking crews, and helping ensure fruit is moved efficiently and safely from the paddock.
You will be reliable and able to consistently turn up to work.
You will communicate well and be able to work with a team in a fast-paced farm environment.
You will be keen to work with a company that pays above award rates and is safety conscious.
- Operate tractor and picking trailer safely in paddock conditions
- Transport fruit and picking crews as directed
- Assist with general paddock operations as required
- Carry out basic checks and minor daily maintenance on machinery
- Work safely and efficiently around people, machinery and fruit
- Available to work 40 hours per week
- Implementation of safety processes in accordance with WHS Qld
- Tractor driving experience preferred
- Experience working on farms or around machinery preferred
- Good awareness of safety in paddock environments
- Ability to follow instructions and work productively in a team
- A can do attitude
- Reliability, trustworthiness and tidiness are highly valued
- Good communication skills
