S-Rina Pty Ltd trading as Cornetts Supermarkets is currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate retail leader to become a Store Manager in our Sarina IGA store. You will be responsible for the overall performance and operations of the store, ensuring that maximum sales, profit and customer satisfaction are achieved through effective merchandising, pricing and inventory control. You may be required to work a rotational roster which may include weekends and public holidays. Your leadership skills will be continuously utilized as you perform your role in this fast paced environment.
As an experienced Store Manager, your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional community focused customer service
- Monitoring and increasing sales and Gross Profit
- Overseeing stock ordering
- Overseeing store presentation on merchandising standards
- Overseeing wages for departments and ensuring staff are rostered to meet customer demand
- Controlling stock and ordering
- Monitoring shrinkage and wastage levels
- Maintain presentation and merchandising standards
- Coordinate fresh departments (where Department Supervisor instead of Department Manager)
- Overseeing Support Store Services Officer/Cash handling duties
- Comply with Health, Safety, and Environment policy and food safety practice
- Recruit and engage store staff in mentoring, training, and performance planning & review
Experience
- Management level experience in running a supermarkets
- Intermediate experience using a ERP such as Business Central or SAP
- Significant grocery/stock management experience strongly preferred
- Experience within fresh food with a Food Safety Supervisor qualification preferred

Pay: $82,000.00 – $87,000.00 per year
