The Langham Hotel Melbourne has a rare and exciting opportunity for an individual who truly understands the Guest experience in a 5 star environment.
As a senior team member, you’ll work collaboratively with the Bell Attendants to extend a warm welcome upon guest arrival and a fond farewell as they depart. You’ll also play a key part in ensuring smooth operations, particularly during busy periods such as promotions and peak trade.
- Some of your responsibilities will involve:

Managing driveway traffic flow to ensure smooth and safe operations

Supporting the Bell Services team to coordinate guest arrivals and departures

Providing exceptional customer service for all guests, visitors and VIPs

Answering questions with a high level of detail and knowledge of the complex & surrounds

Multi-tasking in a fast-paced and busy environment
- Greet all guests with friendliness and professionals
- Assist guests with directions, queries or recommendations on the local area
- Maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with hotel standards
- Assist to valet park vehicles when required
- Open car doors and assist guest's alighting from the vehicle when necessary
- Load, and unload, luggage into and from guest vehicles
- Summoning taxi's from the rank as needed
- With the assistance of other Bell colleagues ensure driveway remains as clear of vehicles as possible at all times
A critical role within the Front Office team, as a Doorperson at The Langham Melbourne, you will have the unique responsibility of creating the first and last impression with our guests, whilst ensuring the Porte Cochere is kept running efficiently at all times. You will pride yourself on delivering a sincere and memorable service experience in line with our Mission: "Building Great Memories”

- Hold a current full manual Australian drivers license (probationary drivers licenses will not be accepted)
This role requires colleagues to work in an active work environment, where manual handling tasks will be required.
