About the role
eApproval is an online application which enables the end-to-end document management and workflow solution of all briefs, Ministerials and correspondence. The application enables NSW Health’s vision for a digitally enabled workplace with streamlined management of approvals.
We are looking for a Project Officer to support the management and coordination of the development, implementation, and evaluation of complex transformation programs and projects to achieve outcomes and support the achievement of organisational objectives.

What you will be doing

Provide a range of project management and support services, including preparation of documentation, monitoring and updating project plans/schedules, updating monthly financials, and supporting related activities to ensure outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards and within agreed scope, in line with established agency project management methodology.

Monitor and evaluate all aspects of implementation, including risk and contingency management, benefits realisation, impact and quality measures, identify and address issues, assess progress and effectiveness, and achieve outcomes.

Prepare and maintain briefs and project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information and contribute to the achievement of project and program outcomes.

Assist in coordinating with work streams and stakeholders to ensure reporting of projects and programs is completed within the organisation and business governance frameworks.
About you
We are seeking motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:

Experience in providing high level project co-ordination and support to highly complex and large technical ICT/digital projects in a large and complex service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent. This includes proven knowledge and capability in maintaining project schedules, risk and issues registers, identifying and seeking mitigation of potential or actual project issues.

Highly developed organisational skills and experience working through projects in a high-volume professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
