Winston’s is a busy neighbourhood bistro and wine bar in the heart of Black Rock, and we’re looking for an experienced cocktail bartender to join our front of house team.
We’re after someone who genuinely knows how to make a great drink. You’ll be confident with classic cocktails, comfortable working at speed, and able to maintain quality and consistency when the bar gets busy.
We’re looking for someone who is warm, personable and enjoys being part of the guest experience, not just working behind the bar. A genuine interest in wine, cocktails, food and hospitality is important, along with the ability to work closely with the floor team and keep things moving during busy services.
The right person will:
- Have previous cocktail bartending experience
- Be confident making classic cocktails and working from a cocktail list
- Be able to work quickly and calmly in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Have strong attention to detail and take pride in presentation
- Be comfortable talking with guests and making drink recommendations
- Have a genuine interest in wine, spirits and hospitality
- Be reliable, organised and a strong team player
- Be available for weekend work, particularly Friday and Saturday nights
- Ideally have coffee-making experience as well

Pay: $26.44 – $47.66 per hour
