We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused PGA Golf Professional to join our golf operations team at Joondalup Resort on a part-time basis. This role offers the opportunity to work across Pro Shop operations, member and guest engagement, golf event support, equipment services and coaching opportunities in a professional and welcoming golf environment.
This is a part-time position, pay rate will be Grade 6 under Amusement, Events and Recreation Award 2020, offering approximately 15–20 hours per week in the Pro Shop, with additional opportunity to conduct private and group golf instruction using the club’s practice facilities.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests and visitors.
- Manage daily check-in procedures and golf bookings.
- Process retail sales, green fees and associated Pro Shop transactions.
- Maintain high presentation standards within the Pro Shop.
- Assist with merchandising, stock control and inventory management.
- Handle customer enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Promote club programs, events and services.
- Support the delivery of competitions, golf events and club activities.
- Communicate pace of play expectations and course policies effectively.
- Contribute to creating a welcoming and enjoyable golfing experience.
- Support golf development programs and player engagement initiatives.
- Conduct club repairs, including re-gripping, shaft replacement, loft and lie adjustments and general club maintenance.
- Provide club fitting services and equipment recommendations for members and guests.
- Manage club repair bookings and customer communications.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding equipment orders and warranty enquiries.
- Promote club repair, fitting and coaching services through the Pro Shop and club communications.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Current PGA Membership and accreditation.
- Strong knowledge of golf operations, Pro Shop procedures and customer service.
- Experience delivering private or group golf instruction.
- Experience with club repairs, club fitting and equipment services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional presentation, conduct and personal grooming standards.
- Strong computer and point-of-sale skills.
- A proactive approach to member and guest engagement.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required.
