We are currently seeking a proactive and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to join our team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
About the Role:
Key Responsibilities
- Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, buffers) safely and effectively.
- Supervise, mentor, and support a team of cleaners.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with cleaning standards.
- Manage team schedules and allocate daily tasks.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Respond promptly to issues and customer concerns.
- Uphold and enforce workplace health and safety standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in a cleaning supervisor or team leader role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Solid knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays.
- A strong eye for detail and commitment to high standards.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Recent Police Check (within the last 3 months)
- Valid proof of right to work in Australia
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery
Preffered Experience:
- Previous cleaning supervisory experience within a retail environment is highly preferred, particularly large retail facilities.
- Candidates should be confident managing cleaning operations in fast-paced environments
