We are seeking an experienced Planner to join our Project Controls team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered on time through accurate scheduling, forecasting, risk identification, and performance reporting.

About the Role
Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, the Planner will be responsible for independently developing, managing, and maintaining detailed project schedules across multiple projects. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and site personnel to ensure schedules are realistic, accurate, and contractually robust.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and manage detailed project schedules that accurately reflect scope, milestones, risks, and delivery requirements.
- Monitor project progress, analyse the critical path, and provide clear, data‑driven insights on risks, delays, and performance.
- Support commercial outcomes through accurate delay analysis and input into EOTs, variations, and contractual reporting.
- Work collaboratively with project, site, and commercial teams to ensure planning information is current, reliable, and aligned with project objectives.
About You
You will bring strong planning and scheduling experience within civil construction or energy projects, combined with excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to project delivery.
You will have:
- Experience as a Planner within civil construction, infrastructure, or energy projects
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
- Sound understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery processes
- Demonstrated experience in critical path analysis, forecasting, and delay analysis
- Ability to identify project risks early and communicate clear, practical solutions
- Strong reporting, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across concurrent projects
- A collaborative mindset with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement
