You want to play a part in making NSW a better place to work, live and travel.
You have the opportunity to gain a wealth of expertise and a diverse range of skills, providing insight and knowledge without losing sight of your work-life balance or wellbeing.
In this role, you'll:
Safely carry out a wide range of labouring and non-trades construction and maintenance duties, including the use of small plant, hand tools, and driving vehicles to support operational work activities. You will work both independently and within a team environment, completing tasks to required quality standards while conducting safety checks, basic equipment maintenance, and maintaining accurate records. You will solve routine issues, escalate more complex problems when needed, and provide guidance to team members or supervise small work groups to ensure tasks are completed effectively. You will also follow and promote strong WHS and environmental practices, identifying and managing risks, ensuring compliance, and contributing to safe, efficient, and high-quality work outcomes. A key part of this role is store and warehouse support: receiving, inspecting, storing, and dispatching electrical stock, maintaining accurate inventory records in SAP, and managing tools, equipment, and PPE. You will pre-pack job kits, coordinate deliveries and suppliers to meet job timelines, and keep the storeroom organised and compliant with WHS standards.

About you
You are a dependable and safety-focused individual with experience in labouring, construction, or maintenance environments, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while supporting team outcomes. You bring strong practical skills in the use of tools and equipment, along with sound literacy and numeracy skills to complete records and communicate effectively with others.
You have the ability to follow procedures, solve problems, and provide guidance to others when required, with experience supervising small teams being an advantage. You hold a current Medium Rigid (MR) driver’s licence, White Card, and relevant safety certifications, including working safely near live electrical cables, or are willing to obtain them, and are committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards in all aspects of your work.
