About the Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning, implementation and evaluation of high-quality educational programs that support children's learning, development and school readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate educational programs in accordance with the EYLF, VEYLDF and National Quality Standards. Design engaging learning experiences that promote children's cognitive, physical, social, emotional and language development. Observe, assess and document children's learning and maintain individual learning records. Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports children's wellbeing and development. Establish positive and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues. Work collaboratively with educators to support curriculum planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Guide and support educators in implementing quality learning experiences where required. Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the centre's Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations, centre policies and child safety requirements. Participate in professional development and contribute positively to the centre's culture and educational outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have: Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education, or another ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification. At least 1- 2 years of relevant experience as an Early Childhood Teacher within an early childhood education and care setting. Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration or eligibility for registration. Current Working with Children Check. Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management certificates. Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF), and National Quality Standards (NQS).Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead educational programs and work collaboratively with educators, families and the broader community.
