Welder (first class)/Pressure Welder
Custom Quip Engineering Pty Ltd (CQE) is a well-established Western Australian founded business with over two decades of experience specialising in the design and manufacture of quality transport equipment.
CQE seeks a motivated team player to join the team as Welder (first class), at our centrally located facilities in Kenwick, Bibra Lake and Henderson.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Carry out efficient and effective welding and fabrication duties to a high standard of detail and completion.
Skills and experience required:
- Relevant trade qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience.
- Experience in MIG welding (solid and flux core).
- Experience in TIG welding and advantage.
- Experience in welding and repairing pressure vessels
- Must be able to efficiently interpret technical drawings and hold strong English skills.
- Understanding of basic maintenance of applicable tools and housekeeping requirements.
- Excellent eye for detail and safe work methods.
- Safe, productive and positive "Can do" Attitude.
- Ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour
Experience:
- TIG welding: 2 years (Preferred)
- Fabrication: 1 year (Preferred)
