Melt Nail Bar is a boutique nail and beauty salon in Bronte, offering elevated treatments in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Alongside our nail and beauty services, Melt features a licensed wine bar, creating a social salon experience where clients can enjoy great treatments, a drink and time with friends.
We’re looking for an experienced Nail Technician to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, genuinely enjoys looking after clients and wants to be part of a friendly, professional salon.
The Role
You’ll predominantly provide nail services, including:
- Manicures and pedicures
- Gel/Shellac manicures and pedicures
- BIAB application, overlays and refills
- Gel removal and nail preparation
- Natural nail care
- Nail art (preferred)
- Client consultations and colour/service recommendations
- Maintaining excellent hygiene and salon presentation standards
- Helping create the warm, polished client experience Melt is known for
Depending on your experience and qualifications, there may also be opportunities to perform or train in additional beauty services such as brows, lashes and spray tanning.
About You
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Australian Visa Working rights and are living in Sydney
- Have professional nail technician experience (essential)
- Are confident performing manicures, pedicures and gel services
- Have experience with BIAB or builder gel
- Have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing a high-quality finish
- Are friendly, reliable and comfortable building relationships with clients
- Can work independently while also being part of a supportive team
- Understand the importance of salon hygiene, cleanliness and presentation
- Have good communication and customer service skills
- Are available to work the busier days in salon (Thurs/Fri/Sats) (Roster is rotated)
Pay: $28.00 – $40.00 per hour
