What’s on offer?
Fulton Hogan is a leader in infrastructure construction, road maintenance, and surfacing across Australia and New Zealand. We are looking for an experienced Road Surfacing Supervisor to join our surfacing team. This is a field-based role across all states and territories, requiring regular interstate travel. You will also be required to undertake office-based duties from time to time. Responsibilities will include:

Planning and scheduling surfacing activities in line with project programmes and work orders

Supervising crews on site, ensuring work is delivered to time, cost, quality, and safety targets

Coordinating plant, equipment, trucks, and materials to keep jobs running smoothly

Ensuring compliance with Fulton Hogan’s safety, quality, and environmental requirements

Set clear expectations around performance, behaviour, attendance, and teamwork
-
Provide on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and support to crew members
-
Ensure all works comply with Fulton Hogan’s safety, quality, and environmental requirements
How will you connect to the role?

Demonstrated experience in road surfacing, civil construction or a related field supervisory role

Strong understanding of surfacing operations and associated plant and equipment

Solid communication skills with the ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the public

Basic computer/tablet skills and willingness to complete office-based duties as required

Flexibility to work field-based across all Australian states and territories, including travel and time away from home when required

Proven people and team leadership experience, able to create and maintain a positive team environment
