The Team & Role
The Community Care Unit (CCU) at Peninsula University Hospital is a residential mental health and wellbeing rehabilitation service supporting adults aged 18+ with a range of mental health conditions. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Grade 2 Occupational Therapist provides assessment, intervention, and activity-based programs to support consumers in achieving their identified goals. The role includes individual and group interventions, key clinician responsibilities, discharge planning, and collaboration with consumers, families, and support services, including the NDIS. This position is well suited to new graduates and early career clinicians seeking to develop their skills in mental health occupational therapy within a supportive team environment.
- Please note that this role is for a Grade 2 Occupational Therpaist working under the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement 2024 –2028.

Skills & Experience Required
Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (via AHPRA)
Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
Good emerging knowledge in the assessment of occupational performance considering physical, cognitive and psychosocial aspects of the person and their environment and determine appropriate intervention in the adult person’s mental health unit.
Experience working as an OT within the mental health and wellbeing setting (desirable)
